PLACK BLAGUE recently played a solo set at the closing ceremony of THE CAVE in Omaha, NE, which was an instillation exhibit by artist, SEAN WARD. It's sad to see the cave go but I had a couple great times there while it existed. THE CAVE was a building transformed into a cave made out of recycled goods and lit by candles. VERY AWESOME!

Sadly, I only played 3 of the shows on the tour, but those guys contaminated some holy groud along with Minneapolis M.I.T.B. worship, SCAPHE, and Minneapolis noise monster, GNAWED. Also, VICKERS recently played Gateway Mall in Lincoln at the Bay 198 skate park. It was weird.

I also went to SHORT, FAST + LOUD FEST in late January in Berkeley, CA..at the legendary 924 Gilman Street!! Saw some of the most amazing bands ever and met even more amazing people!! CAPITALIST CASUALTIES totally killed it! Saw some great shows, ate amazing vegan soul food in Oakland, watched a dog walk on a treadmill, hung out at the beach with Bar Friends, afternoon party at the 2am Club (which is where Huey Lewis shot the cover for Sports!), did laps around the bay, and visited the studio of Satanic Coyotel artist, Steven Leyba!

Thanks to everybody that came out to the Lords of Acid/Thrill Kill Kult show as well as the Voetsek show!! Definitely had a great time at both shows. Lords of Acid played my favorite song of theirs from the Sliver soundtrack..'Most Wonderful Girl'. Meeting Praga Khan was amazing and he was quite a nice little man!! PLACK BLAGUE played an unusual set on the floor of the Bourbon, keeping the crowd about 15 feet away from us! For some stupid reason, I didn't take any photos that night. Was also happy to see the Bay Area representing in Lincoln with Voetsek in town. Sorrower kicked ass that night as well! Even my parents made a special appearance for this thrashing night! THE BODY from Providence, RI were also recently in town playing in the basement of Spindle Records. This band floored my by how insanely loud they were. They rumbled your guts and vibrated your bones. Amazing show!

- I also just came back from driving a 16' Budget rental truck from Santa Maria, Calfornia to Lincoln, NE. Skipped the 4th of July this year and spent the time swimming in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Butchdick and I casted African spells all across Utah. It was one fun and insane trip!
